We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team and take the lead on key civil construction projects across Australia.

About the Role
As a Project Manager at O’Niels Civil, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering civil construction projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with our site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish.
You’ll oversee a range of projects, including earthworks, road construction, drainage, and infrastructure development, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of civil construction projects from start to completion
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with WHS and environmental standards
- Prepare progress reports, project documentation, and cost tracking
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Drive a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and delays
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction or excavation industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles, site operations, and project delivery
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and timelines on medium-to-large projects
- Sound knowledge of WHS, environmental, and quality management systems
- Proficiency with project management software and documentation
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
